At the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel, dental professionals attended an intensive course led by Dr German Ramirez-Yanez on Paediatric Airway-Focused Myofunctional Orthodontics.

The programme explored how early orthodontic intervention can support airway development, breathing patterns, and healthy facial growth. A key highlight was the hands-on CO₂ laser session, where delegates practised simulated tongue-tie procedures on chicken wings to build confidence in soft tissue management and frenectomy techniques.

Blending theory with practical training, the course reinforced the importance of airway-centred, preventive approaches in modern paediatric dentistry.
